Cornwall is rich in music making, much of it by amateurs, whether it is Brass Bands, Male Voice Choirs, Orchestras or its numerous Mixed voice groups.

The Church Hall of St Columb Minor Parish Church Newquay on Mondays at 7.30pm. Free Parking is available adjoining the Church There are no auditions and anyone interested will receive a warm welcome.
David Burleigh was our Musical Director from Autumn of 2011 until our April concert in 2015. Our new Musical Director is Millie Millington started rehearsing with us when we recommenced rehearsals in September 2015. Our accompanist is Rico Gerber of Mount Hawke, a very able Pianist,Accompanist and organist. We look forward to working with him again.
We are an established choir of 50+, and our vision is to provide an opportunity for all to experience the joy of choral singing.
We normally perform 2 concerts a year, one in early December and the other, towards the end of April.We also take part in community concerts when required. The MD proposes the programme for these concerts which is discussed with a supportive committee.
Our December 2015 comprised "Manchester Carols" , words by Carol Ann Duffy, appointed Poet Laureate in 2009, and music by Sasha Johnson Manning with the involvement of a choir from Newquay Junior Academy. The chosen work for the concert on Saturday April 23rd 2016 was Mendelsohn's "Elijah"
